Gravity has met its manager

Cat Ball

A round tabby cat curled into a ball, held overhead by a muscular man climbing uphill

The hill moves. Cat Ball does not.

Uphill Terms

The arrangement is simple: one body rolls, one body braces, and neither discusses the gradient. The slope supplies no opinions and accepts no appeals.

Held Ground

Cat Ball does not climb. It permits the hill to move beneath it while a single, underdressed professional handles the disagreement with gravity. The cat remains calm because panic would alter its geometry. The supporter remains upright because the alternative is paperwork. At sunset they are still three metres higher than breakfast, which everyone records as a clean ascent. Lunch waits below, untouched and increasingly theoretical.

Nobody falls on the afternoon shift.

Supported, spherical, proceeding upward.
